Black Sabbath

I haven't posted in a while. So I thought I would post about a band that hasn't come out with anything for a while either. Black Sabbath. This is the new single from their latest album in I don't know how long. All I have to say is if this is any indication of what the entire album will be then we are all in for a treat. The riffs are very hard, unnerving and catchy. Ozzy's voice brings you back to the beginning days of metal instantly. Brad Wilks (drummer from Rage Against the Machine) does an exceptional job of the drums. Looking forward to more of the Metal/Rock legends.

Baroness

Baroness, a popular underground metal band that makes some pretty legit music. This video "Take My Bones Away" is probably one of the best songs of the 2 CD album Yellow And Green. The album is definitely worth a check. From their wiki page apparently they are labeled as stoner rock. Which I can see from the array of mixed affects that they use can cause your mind to drift.

CannonFire

So this is the band that I am in. CannonFire, trying to bring rock n' roll to the masses. So far we got the rock n' roll but no masses as of yet. So I wanted to share our music with the internet. Tell us what you think. Should we call Slash for a tour or just stop playing music and make a good bonfire. Either way it's our music and we are going to keep making stuff.

Volbeat

Rock may be a dieing genre here in America but it is strong everywhere else. Volbeat is a Danish band that has gone double platinum with their latest album Beyond Hell/Above Heaven. It isn't hard to see why either. One of the best albums of 2011 in my opinion. Also the vocalist has one of the most unique styles around. Metal mixed with Elvis Presley. Love it.

AC/DC

AC/DC one of the best Rock'N'Roll bands that ever was and ever will be. Even if their musical style may sound repetitive at times, the attitude stands out and just kicks you at your core. My first ever rock show was the Black Ice tour. My now brother-in-law/band mate were immeditely bit by the rock music bug and have since started writing out own music with intentions of playing at the same arena in hmmmm...a month or so. It can't take that long to start a following like that. Well, more than a year into being in a band and we have not made it to the arena but it's only a matter of time. I should have known It's a Long way to the top if you want to Rock'N'Roll.

Matthew Mayfield

One of my favorite vocalist Matthew Mayfield. Very distinct and smooth style just hits me. Love it.
